Mermaid Teardrop Swarovski Necklace
Sapphire is as valuable as Ruby. With decent color, clarity and well-cutting, even a small one can price very high, usually up to tens of thousands of dollars. But there are a lot of fake Sapphires, so you need to be very cautious. You probably have been deceived if you can buy a high-quality Sapphire with little money.

Sapphire is of jewelry. Presently, jewelry collection is very popular. However, it is the most important thing to learn to identify in jewelry trading and collection.

The most common impersonation of Sapphire in the market is glass. In fact, it is relatively easy to differentiate Sapphire between glass. Glass is moulded up under high temperature and contracts naturally after cooling down when the plane sags inward. The sagging is hard to be found out with naked eyes unless with a magnifying glass. While using a magnifying glass, focus should not be in a straight line, but should be oblique, which can help you easily find out the concave surface. In this case, it is usually glass. Thanks to grinding and polishing, a precious stone is usually very smooth. Another way to identify is from the various inclusions inside the glass. The most common one is bubble which will not appear in a precious stone. Bubbles in the glass can be observed with a magnifying glass of 10 times.
